Hadeed privacy policy
Last updated: 13 October 2026
Hadeed is a workout log for the gym and home, with a coach that suggests weights and reps, made by FHMM Labs. This page explains how the app handles your data. In short: your workouts, measurements and photos are stored on your phone, and we receive no data from you.
What we collect
Nothing. The app has no servers, needs no account or sign-up, and contains no ads, analytics or tracking.
What is stored on your phone
- Your workouts: routines, sets, weights and reps, notes and personal records.
- Your body measurements, weight and height, if you log them.
- Progress photos and your profile photo, if you add them.
- Your name as you type it in the app, your goal, level and equipment, and your settings.
This data never leaves your phone and we cannot see it. If backup is turned on for your phone, Android may include it in your backup to your Google account, according to your settings and Google's policy.
Internet
The app uses the internet only to load exercise images, from the free jsDelivr network that hosts the open free-exercise-db exercise database. It receives your phone's IP address and the image request, as with any web browsing; none of your data is sent with it. Everything else works offline.
Camera
- Form check: the camera analyses your body position to count reps, right on your phone, using Google's ML Kit. Frames are never recorded, saved or sent.
- QR scanning: to import a routine someone shared with you. The image is read on your phone and not saved.
- Progress and profile photos: you take or choose them, and they are saved inside the app on your phone.
Microphone
If you log sets by voice, the app turns your speech into text using your phone's speech recognition service (usually Google's). Depending on your device, that service may process audio on your phone or on Google's servers, under Google's policy. None of it reaches us, and the app does not keep the audio.
Location
In Ramadan mode, the app uses your approximate location to calculate iftar and suhoor times and suggest the best times to train. This is calculated on your phone. Location is read only when you ask to update it, and never tracked in the background.
Health Connect
If you turn on Health Connect, the app writes your workouts and weight to it so they appear in your other health apps. It reads two things from it: body measurements recorded by other apps, such as an InBody or any smart scale (weight, body fat percentage and lean body mass), added to your My body screen so you don't have to enter them by hand; and workouts recorded by other apps (such as a run or a class), counted toward your weekly goal and streak and when estimating how recovered your muscles are. All of this is processed on your phone. It happens only with your permission, which you can withdraw at any time in Health Connect settings. This data is never used for advertising, never transferred to anyone, and never reaches us.
The coach and chat
The coach answers from your own numbers on your phone. On devices that support Gemini Nano, the app uses the model built into the device to phrase answers; it runs on your phone and your questions are not sent to any server.
Notifications and alarms
The rest timer and workout reminders are local notifications scheduled by the app on your phone; they do not come from a server. The app asks for the "Alarms and reminders" permission so the rest timer alerts you exactly on time.
Wear OS watch
If you install the app on a Wear OS watch, your phone sends it the current workout (exercise name, weight, reps and rest timer), and the watch sends back when you finish a set or skip a rest. This data travels directly between your phone and your watch through Google Play's device connection service, and never reaches us.
Export and sharing
When you export your data (CSV or JSON) or share a routine as a QR code or a workout summary, the app creates the file or code on your phone and opens the system share sheet. You choose where it goes.
Links
The About screen links to the FHMM Labs website, our apps on Google Play and our email address; they open in your phone's apps. The website is covered by the website's privacy policy.
Deleting your data
You can delete any workout, measurement or photo inside the app, and uninstalling the app deletes all of its data from your phone. Anything the app wrote to Health Connect stays there, and you can delete it in Health Connect settings.
Children
The app is meant for adults, and collects no data from any user, including children.
Changes
If anything changes in how the app handles data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
